Village Schools

With The Jubilee Foundation’s help the City of God church in Accra, Ghana has built a model school for local children, the New Nation School. A library has been built which houses around eight tons of books. Two 40ft containers were shipped to Ghana filled with computers, desks, chairs, physical education equipment etc. This was invaluable in getting the school started and in just four years the school has grown to just over six hundred children and fifty staff. In 2008 the school expanded from the church grounds to a new site where the first phase of building is now complete and occupied by the children. In the near future phase two of the building programme will start with the carpenters of Foundation Workshop being very much involved in the construction of the new classrooms.

We are also involved in a school in Adjanoa, Ghana having donated several boxes of books and helping to build desks for the pupils.
